Malone "Adopt A Soldier" Program: Homegrown Help from the Homefront

A Malone-based program to boost the morale of U.S. military personnel overseas is flourishing. Gladys Walker runs the non-profit organization called "Have a Heart-Adopt a Soldier". It's a mom-and-pop program that mails supplies and treats to members of the armed services stationed in Kuwait, Afghanistan and other parts of the Middle East. As Todd Moe reports, what began as a request for a chocolate bar has turned into a nearly round-the-clock operation.
