War and Homeland Security: More Work for National Guard
Mar 31, 2003 — With war underway in Iraq, the burden of homeland security has increased for members of New York's National Guard. Dozens of National Guardsmen from the North Country have been called up. Some for active military service, others to guard facilities around the state. Martha Foley talks with Chaplain Eric Olsen, from Saranac Lake, who's been working in New York City. His job is to keep morale high among the troops.
