Schumer, Clinton Call for More Homeland Security Funds

New York Senators Chuck Schumer and Hillary Clinton are leading the push by Senate Democrats for more domestic security funding in the war supplemental budget. President Bush's $75 billion dollar request to cover the costs of war in Iraq includes $4.2 billion for homeland security. Senate Democrats have introduced an amendment to more than double that amount.
