Mar 06, 2001 — The state Department of Environmental Conservation has a new commissioner. Erin Crotty was appointed Monday by Governor George Pataki. She'll replace John Cahill, who has been named as Pataki's senior policy advisor. North Country Public Radio's Brian Mann has details.
