Assembly Has Votes to Override Pataki Veto
Apr 29, 2003 — The Democrat-dominated Assembly Monday got the two-thirds votes necessary to override Pataki's veto of a bill that would delay school budget votes around the state from May 20th to June 3rd. The vote was 111-38, 11 votes more than what chamber needed to override. River District Assemblyman Darrel Aubertine, the first North Country Democrat in the Assembly in 30 years, voted with the majority.
