Jun 11, 2003 — The New York State Senate wants to ban the sale of the dietary supplement ephedra in New York. Senators say while the death of Baltimore Orioles pitcher Steve Bechler attracted attention, some New Yorkers have died after using the drug, as well. Karen DeWitt reports.
