Jul 29, 2003 — This week St. Lawrence University hosts the 11th Annual Constructivist Design Conference on teaching and learning. The gathering has a lot to live up to. Organizers describe it as "a conference unlike any other ever held". 175 teachers from around New York State and the country spend a few days of their summer modeling a style of learning based on doing, not explaining.
