Hidden History: A Visit to the Bartok Cabin

Listen to this story
Hungarian composer Bela Bartok and his wife, Ditta, spent three summers in the Adirondacks in the mid 1940's. During their visits to Saranac Lake he composed two masterpieces and made friends with many local residents. The summer cottage used by the Bartoks has been restored and is open to the public. Todd Moe took a tour of the humble cabin hidden on a hillside.
