Wilmington Officials Angry Over Lake Placid Sewage Plant

The town council in Wilmington voted earlier this month to consider suing the state and the village of Lake Placid. Town officials are pushing for Lake Placid?s new wastewater treatment plant to include anti-bacterial treatments. Wilmington?s beach, which lies downstream on the Ausable River, has been forced to close the last two summers, because of high bacteria levels. Brian Mann spoke with Wilmington supervisor Jeannie Ashworth.
