Nov 05, 2003 — Governor Pataki named his fifth appointment to New York's highest court, the State Court of Appeals. Robert Smith, who contributed money to Pataki's campaign, will replace Richard Wesley, who was appointed to a federal appeals court. Karen DeWitt reports.
