State Nursing Home Grant Could Be Mixed Blessing

New York Health Commissioner Antonia Novello visited Saranac Lake Friday, to announce a $700,000 grant for the Adirondack Medical Center. The money is part of a statewide effort to close a shortage in healthcare workers at hospitals and nursing homes. But a spokesman for one of the North Country's largest nursing homes says the grant program could actually cost them money. Brian Mann explains.
