Fire Guts Part of Downtown Theresa

Listen to this story
Fire officials are keeping their eyes peeled for hot-spots from Sunday night's blaze that destroyed part of a downtown block in the village of Theresa in Jefferson County. The cause is still under investigation. The fire gutted the old post office, an old hotel built in the late 1800s, and threatened an existing bar and grill. Martha Foley talks with village mayor Ron Trickey, who declared a state of emergency so one of the buildings could be demolished immediately.
