Feb 28, 2002 — Additional state funding is expected to help North Country affordable housing place more people into new homes and out of substandard housing. The agency began the Mobil Home Replacement program in 1995, in Jefferson County and has since expanded its service to Lewis and St. Lawrence counties. The agency has recently applied for $500,000 to help shorten the long waiting list for the program.
