Feb 27, 2002 — The annual Polar Bear Dip netted over 6-thousand dollars this year for the Colton Rescue Squad. The fundraiser was held Sunday at the Shoreline Restaurant in Hannawa Falls. Sunny skies and mild temperatures were on tap for the 30 dippers who plunged into the icy waters of the Raquette River. Jody Tosti visited the Raquette River during last year's Polar Bear Dip.
