Some of the best Mongolian and Buryat musicians and singers of northern Asia are in the Adirondacks this week. Their visit is part of a series of international exchanges sponsored by the Totem Peoples Project and the Association for the Protection of the Adirondacks. Tonight at 7:00, at the Lake Placid Center for the Arts, the group Uragsha presents traditional song, fiddle and throat singing. Todd Moe talks with Dan Plumley, Director of the Totem Peoples Preservation Project, about the project's mission and tonight's concert.
