2004 Trout Season Opens
Apr 01, 2004 — Today is the official start of the trout fishing season in New York State, with some of the best trout streams here in the North Country. Anglers are digging out their hip waders and fishing poles. Experts say weather and water flow will best determine the outcome of the trout season. Todd Moe reports.
