Adirondack Towns Consider New County
Apr 14, 2004 — Local leaders in 10 Adirondack towns are thinking about breaking away to form their own county. It would include towns that are now part of Essex and Franklin counties. The idea is still in its infancy, but if it goes forward, Adirondack County would be the first new county in New York in 90 years. Chris Knight has more:
