May 31, 2004 — Senator Chuck Schumer was in Lake Placid on Friday to outline a number of North Country issues at a government affairs breakfast. New York's senior senator discussed the economy, tourism, acid rain and rising fuel prices with leaders from across the region. Later, Schumer met with officials in Tupper Lake. Chris Knight reports.
