Jun 04, 2004 — The 5th annual Lake Placid Film Festival is in full gear. 60 features and documentaries--including 12 world premieres--are showing in the village through Sunday. Oragnizers made some changes this year to make the event more accessible for wider audiences and attract more sponsors. As David Sommerstein reports, the festival is still a film lover's paradise.
