Mar 22, 2002 — Governor Pataki is winning growing support among members of the state's largest minority party, the Independence Party, but the party's founder Tom Galisano is threatening to challenge Pataki in a primary. Galisano expressed his interest in a run after the Independence Party of Monroe County, in Galisano's hometown of Rochester, came out in favor of Pataki for Governor. Karen DeWitt reports.
