Natural Selections: More on Spider Webs

There are a great variety of spider webs other than the traditional circle. Some spiders create webs that they drop on prey; one creates an attractive perch wire for gnats that it then reels in. And some spiders pretend to be caught in webs, in order to prey on their makers. Martha Foley and Curt Stager discuss the hunting techniques of arachnids.
