Poetry: Maurice Kenny and Feeding Bears
Dec 10, 2004 — Native American writer Maurice Kenny, a resident of Saranac Lake, teaches writing at SUNY Potsdam and has been a leading figure in the renaissance of Native American poetry since the 1970s. He is the author of more than a dozen volumes of poetry, as well as collections of essays and short stories. Kenny is an internationally renowned writer of poetry, fiction, and plays. And he is generously sharing Feeding Bears, a full-length volume of new poems on our website. He spoke with Todd Moe.
