Tupper Lake Developer Reveals Backers

Listen to this story
The Pennsylvania developer who hopes to build a massive vacation home resort in Tupper Lake has unveiled his team of investors. Michael Foxman plans to sell building lots for more than eight hundred homes and condos on a parcel surrounding the Big Tupper Ski area. The project is now under review by the Adirondack Park Agency. Foxman has faced questions about his background, which includes a Federal indictment in the 1990s following the collapse of a savings and loan. Last week, he provided the names and resumes for a half-dozen principal partners, who will spend roughly seven million dollars to acquire the Big Tupper property. As Chris Knight reports, local officials in Tupper Lake say they're confident that this team has the experience to make the project successful.
