Glens Falls Hosts 2005 Snow Sculpture Contest
Jan 28, 2005 — Despite sub-zero temperatures this week, eight teams from across the state are busy carving 12-ton blocks of snow during a 72 hour sculpt-a-thon that began yesterday afternoon in Glens Falls and wraps up Sunday afternoon. This year marks the 20th anniversary of the New York State Snow Sculpting Contest. Teams include groups of friends, families, and co-workers from Manhattan, Rochester and throughout the North Country. Todd Moe talks with event organizer Michael Robbins.
