Apr 27, 2005 — ATV riders gave state environment officials an earful at a public meeting in Canton last night. The DEC is getting input on its draft plan for regulating 4-wheeler use on state land. It virtually bans ATVs in the Adirondack Forest Preserve and restricts trails in other state forests. As David Sommerstein reports, riders say the state is excluding a growing sport.
