May 02, 2005 — Women and children in southern Franklin county have a new refuge if they're suffering from domestic violence. An organization called Comlinks unveiled a safe house on Sunday that will offer emergency shelter. In the past, women were forced to drive fifty miles.As Brian Mann reports, advocates say the home will offer families a chance to start over away from the threat of abuse and intimidation.
