The Big Brass of the Dirty Dozen

One of New Orleans' premier brass bands brings its mix of jazz, funk, and rock to the Adirondacks tomorrow night. The Dirty Dozen Brass Band plays at 8pm at the Lake Placid Center for Arts. The group's a staple in New Orleans clubs and at the famous Jazz and Heritage Festival. It's played all over the world and has collaborated with artists like David Bowie, Elvis Costello, and Dr. John. David Sommerstein spoke with one of the group's founders.
