Aug 03, 2005 — Veterans from across the country will gather in Dallas this week to take a stand against war. It's the national convention of Veterans for Peace, an organization of veterans and individuals opposed to war. Earlier this year, the North Country chapter of Veterans for Peace began meeting on a regular basis in Potsdam, and has its own website. Todd Moe spoke with three members of the local chapter, who were either drafted or volunteered for military duty. They talked about veterans' rights, recruitment and war.
