Aug 09, 2005 — For a different perspective on the media and the military, David Sommerstein called up Paul Rieckoff. He served in Iraq from 2003 to 2004 with the Army's 3rd Infantry Division and 1st Armored Division. Now he directs Operation Truth, a non-partisan advocacy group for veterans of the war in Iraq. Rieckoff says active duty soldiers do have restrictions on their first amendment rights to free speech.
