Unearthing the Past: Historic Button Found in Plattsburgh

Listen to this story
A small jacket button, from the early 1800's, was recently found at the Kent-Delord House Museum in Plattsburgh. Over the last couple of weeks, volunteers have been sifting through piles of dirt in the historic home's backyard. Larry Turner, of Peru, found it last week. It's just a button to some, but local historians say it's also a key to the past. Todd Moe took a closer look.
