Aug 29, 2005 — Syracuse University is welcoming 35 Native American students for its first day of classes today. That number is likely to jump significantly next year. Beginning in 2006, SU will offer full scholarships to any member of an Iroquois tribe, including the Akwesasne Mohawks. David Sommerstein reports.
