Alex Bay Judge Resigns After Censure

Listen to this story
A judge in Alexandria Bay has resigned following censure by a state commission. The commission recommended that Judge Charles Pennington be removed from the bench for using racially tinged language during a trial, and for taking a 17-year-old defendant to his home after another trial. Pennington says he will appeal, but this isn't the first time he's been censured by the commission.
