"Leaf Peepers" Keep an Eye on Fall Colors

Listen to this story
The North Country's colorful fall foliage continues its somewhat slower progression this season. A warm spell this month has resulted in a slower than usual change in the leaves, with near-peak colors expected to make their first appearance this weekend in some of the higher elevations of the Adirondacks. Todd Moe talks with Jim Carroll, of Tupper Lake, who is an official state "leaf peeper." He and his wife file weekly fall color reports from their living room window to the tourism office in Albany.
