May 10, 2001 — There were plenty of theatrics and rhetoric yesterday at the Capitol, but no movement on the stalled state budget talks. Republicans again held a 'meeting' of a conference committee on the state budget that was supposed to be in place by April First. And just as they did for a similar so-called meeting held last week, Assembly Democrats didn't participate. Karen DeWitt reports.
