Listen to this story
A new book by a retired St. Lawrence University professor and coach explores the history of women's sports at SLU over its 150-year history. Dotty Hall, professor Emerita of Sport and Leisure Studies, has written Women's Sports at St. Lawrence University: From Beginnings to Title IX. The book begins with the early history of the women's basketball club in 1894 and ends in 1974 when women's and men's athletics were merged into one department. She spoke with Todd Moe.
