Franklin County DA Says Too Late For Abuse Charges in "Primetime" Case

Franklin County's district attorney says it's too late to prosecute a man who punched and slapped his daughter. The incident was recorded by a film crew with ABC News in 2002 but only aired last week on the national news program "Primetime." District Attorney Derek Champagne says the statute of limitations for bringing charges against Joe Nelson, who lives in Vermontville, has expired. As Brian Mann reports, the case has triggered a national outcry.
