Aviator Finds Niche Teaching North Country Pilots
Jun 02, 2006 — Darren Mesibov started his flight instructor school at the Potsdam airport with nothing but a single-engine plane. He didn't even have an office - he'd meet students on the ramp leading up to the runway. He was just trying to build up enough hours to get his commercial pilot's license. But then he took out a classified ad, in the Pennysaver. And suddenly his fortunes changed. Gregory Warner tells the story.
