Jun 06, 2006 — The Warren County Sheriff's Office and the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives say a fire that destroyed the Episcopal church in Pottersville was arson. The church burned last Tuesday, triggering a full-scale investigation. Federal agents have interviewed more than 75 people. They're offering a $5000 reward for information. The fire followed two burglaries and other acts of vandalism in mid-May. On Sunday, Episcopal Bishop Daniel Herzog held a service and a ceremony of healing in Pottersville. The church had a small congregation, with fewer than 20 members. Brian Mann spoke with John Watson, who has served as church warden at the Episcopal church for more than 30 years.
