Jul 10, 2006 — One of the North Country's cultural landmarks is closing. With Pipe & Book, a popular used bookstore and tobacco shop in Lake Placid, will close its doors after 29 years. The business has also been an important market for books about the Adirondacks. Co-owner Julie Turner spoke with Brian Mann. She's this morning's Heard Up North.
