Sep 26, 2006 — Dr. Bob Johnson is a Watertown-area doctor who's taken on a tremendous challenge. For the second straight time, he's the Democrat trying to unseat well-entrenched Republican Congressman John McHugh in the 23rd District. The advantages of incumbency are many - name recognition, pork barrel spending, and lots of endorsements are just a few. Johnson is painting McHugh as a rubber stamp for the Bush Administration who's out of touch with his district. As David Sommerstein reports, Johnson's also taking on the political system as a whole.
