Art by observing and absorbing

Listen to this story
A new exhibit opens Friday night at the Adirondack Artists' Guild in Saranac Lake. Georgeanne Gaffney is the featured artist this month at the guild. Her show, titled "Nostalgia", includes landscape murals, figurative and mixed media works. Gaffney grew up in Maryland and lived in California before moving to the Adirondacks a few years ago. She spoke with Todd Moe about what inspires her art.
