10th Mountain Division: The Real Life of Peacekeepers

Nearly 4000 men and women from the 10th Mountain Division - based at Fort Drum near Watertown - are poised to return home after six months in the former Yugoslavian province of Kosovo. They've been enforcing a delicate peace between Kosovar Serbs and Kosovar Albanians. David Sommerstein went to Kosovo in February with the U.S. Army. In part two of his reports on the deployment, the daily grind of peacekeeping can sometimes obscure the humanitarian mission.
