Dec 22, 2006 — State Comptroller Alan Hevesi may be facing his final hours in office. If published reports are accurate, Hevesi will resign this morning as part of plea deal with the Albany District Attorney, who's been probing the Comptroller's use of state employees as drivers and personal aides to his wife.
