Spitzer calls for change in State of the State speech
Jan 03, 2007 — Three days into his term as Governor, Eliot Spitzer outlined a bold plan for Albany and statewide. During his hour-long state-of-the-state speech before a joint session of the legislature today, Spitzer put state government on notice that changes are in store. Spitzer laid out a blueprint that promises to reform Albany, improve the upstate economy, and upgrade roads and bridges without raising taxes.
