Peace protesters oppose Bush's "troop surge"

President Bush's plan to send more than 20,000 additional troops to Iraq sparked protests yesterday around the country. Hundreds of marchers crammed a traffic island in Times Square in New York City. Protesters also gathered in this region, with marches in Elizabethtown, Glens Falls, and in Saranac Lake. Brian Mann sent this audio postcard from a rally in Riverside Park in Saranac Lake.
