Clinton, McHugh critical of Bush war plans
Jan 17, 2007 — New York Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton says she'll introduce legislation capping the number of U.S. soldiers in Iraq. She and North Country congressman John McHugh held a joint press conference in Washington yesterday.
Both were intensely critical of President Bush's plan to expand the number of U.S. troops in Iraq. They also called on the White House to commit more resources to Afghanistan, where soldiers and civilian aid workers face growing attacks from Taliban and Al Qaeda. Brian Mann reports.
