Mar 28, 2007 — The Olympic Regional Development Authority moved forward Tuesday with millions of dollars in capital projects at its downhill ski centers. ORDA's Board of Directors, at a meeting in Lake Placid, approved a resolution to borrow $8 million for upgrades at Gore Mountain in North Creek and Whiteface Mountain in Wilmington. As Chris Knight reports, the authority has also signed off on a joint application to the Adirondack Park Agency for the North Creek Ski Bowl expansion.
