Apr 18, 2007 — One person is dead after a plane crashed during takeoff from the Adirondack Regional Airport in Lake Clear this afternoon.
The pilot of the twin-engine private was the only person on board when it crashed in the woods beyond the airport's main runway around 1:10 p.m. Jonathan Brown has more on this story with contributions from Chris Knight.
