Jay Ungar and Molly Mason live at the Edwards Opera House

Listen to this story
Jay Ungar and Molly Mason packed the historic Edwards Opera House for a concert on October 15, 2005. NCPR's Joel Hurd was plugged into the sound board and produced this taste of a great live show. Their first number, The Montague Procession, is a Scandanavian walking tune by David Kraner. After the first verse, Jay and Molly are joined by 15 young fiddlers from the Trillium Performing Arts Center in Watertown. The second tune is Tampa, written by NPR newsman Paul Brown, and the audience joins in for a surprisingly tuneful and enthusiastic singalong.
