May 22, 2007 — Essex County supervisors voted yesterday to oppose any move by North Country Community College out of Saranac Lake. The decision comes a little more than two weeks after Franklin County, the college's other sponsor, took the same stand on the future of North Country's main campus. As Chris Knight reports, the college and the counties say they will now turn their focus to renovating the existing Saranac Lake campus.
